We couldn't be more happy and proud to bring in two beautiful lots this year from Mexico! Our first selection comes from producer Macario Garcia who's farm, El Alamo, sits high in the Sierra Madre Oriental mountains of Oaxaca.
This special washed micro-lot from Marcario is stunning - pushing fermentation right to the sweet spot where we are finding dark fruit like blackberry, ripe bosc pear and a lovely milk-chocolate mid-tone all wrapped up in a honeyed sweetness. Comfort coffee, for sure, but with enough ripe fruit and nuance to fit our more adventurous profiles as well. We are digging it, and think you will too!
