About 400 individual producers bring their harvest to the Halo Hartume washing station managed by the Mijane family. After 30 years of overseeing the washing station, Woresa Mijane has passed on the day to day operations to his son Daniel.  There are many challenges that a private washing station faces, but Daniel has risen to the challenge, and the results of his hard effort pays off in many ways, including outstanding quality.

Daniel's oversight of the careful processing has led to a pristine cup full of florals, honey, and a sweet lemon curd. No doubt this will be seen by many to be our tastiest washed lot of the season, and it will likely be our last washed offering from Ethiopia before new crop arrives in spring 2022. So order up and enjoy some of the best coffee Ethiopia has to offer.
