One thing we love about natural coffees from Ethiopia is their expression of terroir. For sure you'll experience the darker fruit notes that come from processing coffee naturally, but you can also find floral, citrus and tropical notes that we'd typically associate with the best washed coffees of Ethiopia. Dumerso, hailing from the esteemed Yirgacheffe region, is a wonderful example.
While grinding, the room fills with aromatics of flowers and berry jam, a window into what awaits in the cup. When sipping hot, we are tasting chocolate and grape. As the coffee begins to cool, raspberry and floral notes take center stage, with a port like finish resonating from hot to cool (if you are able to wait that long). If you like coffee with a more intense, fruit forward profile, Dumerso will not disappoint!
