Each version of Migration has always been predominantly an East African blend, but this is the time of year where we also like to add a fresh crop from Central America. And as always, each version of Migration is created to be amazing for cold brew - not the lifeless, heavy malty stuff you might find in a grocery store bottle, but cold brew with spine, nuance and verve. Welcome to version 2.2!
2.2 is 40% of a washed coffee from the Gedeb region of Ethiopia (Halo Hartume), 20% of a single producer natural lot from Yirgacheffe (Nigatu Wase), and 40% from producer Manual Ramirez in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. The aromatics are predominately floral, with flavor notes of honeydew, mixed berries and nectarine. Chug it cold, sip it hot, pull a shot - whatever, 2.2 is tasty and ready to get you through these dog days.
