This is not our first rodeo with coffee from Pablo Guerrero's farm, El Obraje - we've purchased a number of his mind-blowing gesha lots in the past. But it is the first time we've offered a natural caturra variety from him, and it is impressive! When we first tasted it on the cupping table, we were shocked by the clarity and clean cup profile. Yes we found the more common dark fruit notes associated with the natural process, but there was also a lively white grape/guava acidity and milk chocolate undertones that played so well with the darker berry compote flavors. This is special coffee from a producer we continue to grow in respect for. If you are looking for a super fresh, super clean, but not over the top fruit bomb, grab a bag of Pablo - now!
