Rosalinda, a member of the Popti Mayan community in Huehue, inherited a 1/2 hectare parcel of land. For a while, she was too busy working as a mom, but eventually began to plant the land with caturra and bourbon varietals, and started a nursery for coffee seedlings. Her hard work over many years has payed off and we are very excited to share with you her beautiful coffee and our first selection from Central America for 2021!

Just off grind, we are smelling a sweet hint of anise. In the cup we are tasting brighter fruit notes like apple and pear, balanced by mid tones of chocolate and nougat (think toblerone).  All together, a very complete and delicious coffee to get you started during these warming days of summer.
