Great for cold brew, drip or espresso!

We taste

raspberry, passion fruit, chocolate

...in this coffee.

Many of you are now familiar with our seasonal blend Migration, which launches in the spring of each year and finishes up in the fall, with a few versions in-between.  You may also know that we create the blend to be an excellent option for cold brew, but encourage everyone to try it as drip or espresso – especially if you love coffees from East Africa.

We think coffees from Ethiopia in particular are outstanding for cold brew, and Migration 6.0 happens to be a 100% Ethiopian.  The first component is Danche, a washed coffee from the Yirgacheffe region. This coffee brings wonderful florals and lively citric acidity. The second component is a natural processed coffee from the Guji region which offers darker fruit notes and chocolate. Blended together at a 60/40 ratio respectively, we are tasting raspberry and passionfruit, all wrapped up in a chocolatey mid tone. Delish.

Whether you are looking for an amazing option for cold brew, or love drip or espresso from Ethiopia, Migration should be a go to throughout the warm/hot days of spring, summer and fall!

We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable relationships. The chart below provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey.
