The town of Kercha sits in the highlands of the Oromia region where ~700 producers bring their harvest to Tadesse Mengistu's wet mill to be sorted and processed. The de-pulped seeds are then dried on raised beds and the results are stunning. This particular lot politely screamed at us from the cupping table saying "I am really good!" We were delighted with sweet lavender fragrance and ripe fruit notes of mango and apricot revealing in layers. Another extraordinary and special coffee from the motherland.
