We taste

toffee, pink lady, pear

...in this coffee.

Todos Santos, is a special lot from a group of women called “Mujeres luchando por un mejor futuro,” or “Women fighting for a better future”. In short, their fight has been against all of the challenges that women face working in coffee, from discrimination to limited access to resources. Through perseverance and hard work they are achieving great things in coffee and this lot bears witness!

Fresh off the grind the aromatics are toffee sweet. The cup is wonderfully balanced with a bright malic acidity complimenting notes of pink lady apple and ripe pear, all wrapped up in a medium full body. If there is not enough to love already, this coffee is also grown organically. Grab a bag and know you are supporting a group of women changing the culture of coffee in Cuchamatanes!

We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable relationships. The chart below provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey.
