Production Assistant/Delivery Driver Job Description

We’re looking for someone to help put our beautiful coffee into our beautiful bags, AND deliver this coffee 2 days a week (Wednesday & Thursday) to our awesome wholesale customers in Denver.

You’ll work with a team of top notch coffee professionals in a comfortable, welcoming environment, and have opportunities to join our educational classes/cuppings. Plus you’ll get to drink copious amounts of some of the best coffee in the US for free.

LOCATION:
Sweet Bloom Roastery in Lakewood, CO

REPORTS TO: Matt Stiles

COMPENSATION:
$13-14//hr + Guaranteed $5/hr Minimum Tip Share and accelerated wage increases.

HOURS: Monday – Thursday 7AM – 3PM

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Bagging – Labeling and filling bags, operating the Weigh-right, fulfilling retail/wholesale orders

    Internet order fulfillment – printing labels, filling boxes, packaging e-commerce orders

    Cleaning – End of day and weekly deep clean of bagging area and Weigh Right

    Cupping/classes – taking part in cuppings/ classes when time allows

    Delivery – to our wholesale partners using our Sprinter van

  • Employees are frequently required to stand for long periods of time, crouch, kneel, walk, reach and twist.
  • Employees are expected to use a keyboard or touchscreen device.
  • Employees are required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally employees may be required to work more than 40 hours in a week to complete the required work.
  • The work atmosphere is moderately paced
  • Noise levels are generally moderate with regular occurrences of moderate to high volume.
