Key Focus: The Production Team packages each bag of coffee with care on the same day it is roasted upholding high standards of quality with efficiency, consistency, and attention to detail.

COMPENSATION:
$19/HR Cap: $26/HR

HOURS: Part-Time Position: Monday – Thursday 7AM – 2PM

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to stand for 6-9 hours.

Able to lift 60+ lbs.

Bending, kneeling, and twisting movements are part of this job.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work within the production schedule to complete each order by the appropriate deadline.

Work alongside the other members of the Production Team to label unfilled coffee bags, bag, seal and date all roasted coffee.

Work alongside the other members of the Production Team to fold and tape boxes, print and check invoices, print and check the roast sheet, and maintain and troubleshoot machines as needed.

Accurately and efficiently prepare and package coffee bags to fulfill each coffee order.

Receive packages that arrive at the roastery.

Count and track all packaging inventory communicating any needs to the Production Manager clearly and in a timely manner.

Complete daily cleaning tasks ensuring the production area remains sanitary, clean and organized.

Work alongside the Production Manager and other members of the Production Team to innovate new systems that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, and creatively and logically troubleshoot challenges as they arise.

Demonstrate a pleasant disposition, a sense of urgency toward serving our guests and staff, and a willingness to assist in other departments or complete additional duties as needed.

Take initiative in the further development of Sweet Bloom, continually striving to maintain healthy and effective relationships with other staff.

Demonstrate ability to work efficiently and calmly in high stress and demanding environments.
