We taste

earl grey, lemon curd, honey

...in this coffee.

We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to contract for this amazing gesha lot from Arcelia Clemente! Arcelia grows her coffee high in the Santa Rosa zone of Chirinos, Peru. She is supported by the Tocto family who own Finca Churupampa and who “…see Finca Churupampa not just as a coffee farm, but also as a social enterprise with a mission to revitalize the economic and social landscape of Chirinos.”

All of these efforts in the end lead to some really tasty coffee and we are excited to share this gem with you! Fresh off the grind you’ll find honey and soft floral aromatics. The cup is delicate, with lovely Earl Grey and lemon curd wrapped up in a rich honey sweetness. A really tasty gesha at an equally attractive price. Don’t miss out!

We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable relationships. The chart below provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey.
