Duromina
A delicate floral gem to welcome the warming days of spring.
We taste
honey, orange creamsicle, lemon-lime
...in this coffee.
Our second offering from Ethiopia this year comes from the Duromina washing station in western zone of Jimma. Small scale farmers bring their harvests to the washing station to be processed. No doubt, the Duromina washing station produces some of the best coffee in the region and we are delighted to share this gem with you!
Fresh off the grind, the aromatics are honey sweet and floral. In the cup we are tasting orange creamsicle and lovely lemon-lime acidity, all wrapped up in a honeyed sweetness. If you are looking for a delicate and delicious coffee to go with the warming days of spring, Duromina should be your go to.

We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable relationships. The chart below provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey.
