A stunning fruit-forward gem from Oaxaca!

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

We taste

cherry, plum, pink lady

...in this coffee.

Flor de Corazón is a type of magnolia flower, endemic to northern Oaxaca. Used for medicinal purposes, it can be found in botanical gardens throughout the region.  The beauty and importance of this flower makes it a fitting name for the group that produces some of the best coffee Mexico has to offer.

This year’s lot of Flor de Corazón is stunning! Fresh off the grind you’ll find intensely sweet dark fruit notes. In the cup we are tasting everything from cherry to plum to pink lady apple.  For those of you who love a clean washed coffee with loads of fruit nuance, you need to try this gem!

We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable relationships. The chart below provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey.
