Habtamu Fikadu
Fikadu is firing on all cylinders
We taste
earl grey, peach, lemon-lime
...in this coffee.
We are getting into the heart of new crop lots from Ethiopia and this is the time of year where these coffees really shine! Habtamu Fikadu represents a group of producers surrounding the Chelchele washing station, and this specific selection exemplifies the best washed lots coming from this region!
Just after grinding, the aromatics pop with floral and citrus notes reminiscent of earl grey tea. These notes carry into the cup as well and are joined by a lovely ripe peach note with a shimmering lemon-lime acidity. Fikadu is firing on all cylinders – grab a bag before this small lot is gone!

Transparency Information
We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable relationships. The chart below provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey.
