Imbachi Family – Lot #2

Our second offering from the Imbachi Family in 2023!

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

We taste

marmalade, lychee, sugarcane

...in this coffee.

Carlos Imbachi is an award winning producer whom we’ve had the privilege of working with since the beginning of Sweet Bloom. In recent years, Carlos has divided his farm amongst his children and at times we’ve also shared individual selections from his children Diego and Sonia.

Lot 2 is a larger lot than the first lot we offered in February and is definitely similar in profile. Off the grind we are smelling sweet florals and marmalade. Tasting notes of orange can be found in the cup as well, and are joined by lychee, white grape and a sugarcane sweetness. Delicate, refined and a wonderful coffee to welcome the warming days of spring!

We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable. The below information provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey, and where this lot falls within our relationship chart.
