Huila, Colombia
José Muñoz – Pink Bourbon Variety
Another pink bourbon gem!
We taste
blackberry, cherry, maple syrup
...in this coffee.
Let’s just start by saying this coffee is delish and a lovely contrast to the Juan Jimenez pink bourbon we are also offering right now. José grows his coffee on his farm La Esperanza, high in the hills of southeast Huila. Clearly, José has a gift for producing amazing coffee.
Fresh off the grind, the aromatics are intense, sweet, and full of dark fruit notes like blackberry and plum. Blackberry translates into the cup as well and is joined by juicy cherry and a maple syrup sweetness. REALLY nice coffee – grab a bag before we drink it all up!

Transparency Information

We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable relationships. The chart below provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey.
