A new pink bourbon from our friend Luis Camacho!

We taste

jasmine, raspberry, panela

...in this coffee.

For the past two years we’ve had the pleasure of visiting Luis Camacho on his farm, La Palma. After our first taste of his pink bourbon, we were smitten, and we are stoked to be sharing another stellar lot with you!

Fresh off the grind the aromatics are wonderfully sweet and floral, leaning towards jasmine. Florals carry over into the cup as well and are joined by notes of raspberry and panela. In our opinion, it is tough to beat a good washed pink bourbon, and Luis’s selection is beyond good, it is beautiful. Grab a bag before this small lot disappears!

We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable relationships. The chart below provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey.
