Huila, Colombia
Quebradón
Comfort coffee at its best.
We taste
peach, caramel, milk chocolate
...in this coffee.
Quebradón is a group of producers who own farms (the average size is about 3 hectares), surrounding the town of Palestina in the south of Huila. For over a decade, our partner importers, Caravela, has been working with the Quebradón group to improve quality and provide education on farm management.
All this leads to a delicious cup of coffee which definitely falls into the comfort category. Fresh off the grind you’ll find rich milk chocolate aromatics. In the cup the chocolate persists and is joined by a lovely peach note and caramel sweetness. Like your favorite sweater, this lovely coffee will help you get through the latter half of winter.

Transparency Information
We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable relationships. The chart below provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey.
