Cerro Azul
An opportunity to try one of the most highly esteemed coffees in the world!
Quantities are limited.
We taste
jasmine, concord grape, vanilla bean
...in this coffee.
It would take far more than the space on this page to share just how special this coffee is and what Rigoberto means to us, and the greater specialty coffee industry at large. Let’s just say Sweet Bloom would not be what it is today without Rigoberto and this beautiful coffee, Cerro Azul.
One thing we’ve always noted and loved about the gesha from Cerro Azul is that it has a wonderful concord grape like quality, which sets it apart from the traditional washed geshas of Panama. Yes, there are also intense florals like jasmine, tropical fruits, and a mix of citric and malic acidities, but from first sip to last, you’ll find a persistent and in no way overbearing sparkling grape quality that makes this coffee shine!
Enjoy

We buy, roast, and sell coffee. On a surface level, this sounds simple enough. But buying coffee in a way we are proud of and in a way that those who buy our coffee are proud of is often complex, challenging, and hard work. We find ourselves on a continuum of buying and selling that progresses towards more sustainable, meaningful and equitable relationships. The chart below provides basic information for each lot on where we are on this journey.
